Jonah Shaver, who earned his Ph.D. from Rice in applied physics in May 2008, has been awarded a J. William Fulbright Scholarship to conduct postdoctoral research in the Brahim Lounis and Laurent Cognet research group at the Centre de Physique Moleculaire Optique et Hertzienne of Bordeaux University in France.
