"NanoJapan is truly special. Who would have thought that I would be working in the area of nano-carbon years ago? Recently, I joined a graphene (2-D carbon) company, Graphene Platform, co-founded by Patrick Frantz, who for years has been a local liaison for the the NanoJapan program. The program has not only helped me develop strong interest in nanotechnology but also connect with key individuals in the field. Last week, at the 2013 Research Progress on Graphene Research (RPGR 2013) I met up with my mentor Dr. Kazu Suenaga from AIST, Tsukuba, Japan. I've attached a photo of us taken at the conference." ~ Jaret Lee, September 2013
